While it's nothing interesting or worthwhile to most of you, I just felt like I had to say this.

I am no longer wearing socks because jQuery just blew my socks off.
This JavaScript Framework is much easier to learn than I previously thought.

It implements so smoothly, and while I keep making mistakes because I'm brand new, it's easy to find answers and so forth.
I was originally planning on holding out on adding in the whole 'Web 2.0' phase of javascript until I was sure that, well I could really do it all.

So far in one night I've managed to implement (for the forums); Inline Post Editing, Quotes, Quickreply Previews.
I have further plans to add Post Reporting.
Unfortunately for me I'm still a bit noob, so everytime I try to add something new, it breaks everything I had previously implemented.

But! It is a good sign. :3
Unfortunately I won't be uploading the update until the entire thing is ready, which is still about 2weeks to a month away. I know, but I am a one man team!

While I haven't scheduled the next update, there will be some changes I want people to be aware of.

The Forums will completely wiped and reset. There is a major structure change in the database so this is required.

All brand new features like Articles, Art Portal, etc. will have a Beta permissions lock. You will be need to be given beta access to utilise these features.
I will update this post with an asterisk (*) next to all of the items that are completed & working. A (-) indicates that it has been completed but require further bug testing.

Hi everyone,

Since the registration has been opened up quite a lot of people have signed up, far more than I had expected or anticipated. I had never planned for word to spread over at DeletionQuality just yet and Silence did so without warning me, and so by the time I had come online the next day a whole lot of people had joined.

Unfortunately and most importantly I think it is important for me to explain that the website is not finished. There are still lots of bugs and unfinished bits to do. While I appreciate that you are all excited and so forth, considering pretty much all of you are from Deletion Quality; I politely ask that you keep the 'general' conversations back over at DQ for the time being. (As the website is technically in beta, I will be wiping the forums clean and everyone's stats when the website is released anyway).

While I am happy for some small talk and so forth, the reality is that I haven't really selected any Moderators to help out for the time being. To be honest I don't really want to split my time between Moderating and Developing the website when I can focus my time towards developing and get it finished quicker.

I do appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and support, but I think for now it would be best to keep the whole thing low key. When it's ready you'll know, I'll make sure of that.
